I would like to personally apologise to all 46 of you who are following this blog for the humorously badly drawn semi-stickfigures of various Monster High students, teachers, parents and alumni, and are instead having your dashboards cluttered with my personal headcanon musings and box rants.
Or, atleast I apologise to the 44 of you who didn’t like my previous post.
And I still have 15 minutes left, so allow me to just finish off by saying
Mattel why are you screwing us Englanders over with your European boxes and books when the American ones are so beautiful and perfect?
The American Heath has handwriting, and a diary, and he confirms so many of our personal headcanons, yet the European one only gets the baking attempts and it isn’t even ‘hand written’.
And you haven’t box named him Thomas!
Why must you torment us so?
Okay, so I have half an hour left on the library computer, and no real inspiration to answer any of my ask blog questions, so I thought I’d just sit here on mine and Lorcan’s main account and spout all of the random things that came to mind yesterday after Deuce’s gaming console talk.
If I had to choose one console or gaming type for each of the dudes at MH, then this is pretty much how I see the MH guys’ main gaming habits. Now, I’m not going to pun the company or console names in this post, mainlt because I haven’t thought of a pun for Nintendo yet, and you should know that although I have based some aspects of this on the characters personalities and my own knowledge of what consoles have what games etc, the majority of the foundation for this list is what controller I imagine the guys look best holding. Fair warning has been given.
Deuce is the Xbox guy. However, he’s probably going to have to get the PS4 when the new generation is released, abeit with an Xbox style controller, because ain’t nobody got time for the Xbox One.
Clawd was Mr. Playstation from the start, so now he’s just like “I told you bro.”
Holt plays Wii, because he’s cray like that, and also because the safety strap means that ven if he does get a little too hotheaded about not being able to complete a level on something, he can’t really launch the controller at the TV and break anything. Jackson I think leans more now towards PC gaming for the newer games, but I imagine that he also still has the more retro Nontendos, like the N64 and the SNES. So basically, together Jackson and Holt are the Nintendo console family.
Heath and Billy I imagine are more portable game players, although Heath would play PSP (It’s pretty much canon to the not-currently-English webisode), and Billy would be DS/3DS.
Gil is the retro Sega player because in my mind he’s still one of those emo hipsters who only plays old school consoles and board games.
Manny I don’t really know about, but thats possibly because he’s more of an arcade gamer than a home console gamer, I haven’t quite figured it out yet.
I should draw some more additions to the “Deuce’s Epic Brofist” series.
I’ve already got a Lagoona request that’s been gathering in the inbox for a good while now, so I’ll get on that ASAP.
Any other (non-repeat) requests for the future?
I’ve already drawn Brofist sets for Jackson, Clawd, Holt, Heath, Invisi Billy, Howleen, Gil, Nefera, Slow Moe, Hoodude, Purrsephone and Meowlody, Cleo, Manny and (ghoul forbid) Mr Rotter.
Plus the booby prize of Heath and Jackson’s brofist and also Robecca and Venus making out??
All previously met canon characters welcome :)
So if MH is doing US giveaways of the Heath and Abbey set already, then that must mean that they’re coming out in shops soon, right?
I hope they’ll be bringing out a new Holt in the not-too-distant future, or even better re-releasing the old one, because otherwise poor Heath’s gonna have to hang out with these losers
